K9 Soldiers, Inc. started out collecting toys and biscuits for deployed dogs, moved to specialized equipment for MWDs, rescued contractor dogs in Pakistan and supported our troops with various community efforts. During the almost two years of serving our K9 troops our scope broadened and during that time we have made many observations. We have filtered all the aspects of those observations and concluded that we have identified a niche that must be filled.There are many, many fine organizations that continue to support K9 troops by sending items and we will be happy to direct those wishing to continue supporting that effort to those organizations. K9 Soldiers is shifting its focus to fund raise for behavioral and medical research for the purpose of improving and benefiting the lives of our military working dogs. That will be the sole focus of K9 Soldiers moving forward. We will describe in detail the reasons and need for such support under our Mission tab.
